10 file sharing websites blocked by MCMC??

If you guys don't know, MCMC is Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.

If am not mistaken (poor research), this "blocking" phenomena started early this month (June). They say, it's their way to combat piracy. pfft!

The ten websites that have been blocked are:

These websites are said to be among the most visited filesharing websites by Malaysians. 

For me, am a bit pissed off by the gov's action. Why? Coz movie2k is my favourite source to watch English movies online. It has been a while since I watched English movies at the cinema because my principle is "Support Filem Tanah Air". haha.. But now that the website has been blocked, I have no other choice than to watch the movies at the cinema. Damn. Double Damn. 

The MCMC had written a letter to all  ISPs ordering to block all the 10 websites, and i don't how it got round, but the letter has been leaked. haha. Here it is:

note how they keep mentioning about Unifi in the vid? First I didn't get the joke as well. I thought they just mention it for no apparent reason. Then,finally I got it! It's because, in the Unifi's description it says they provide "HIGHSPEED internet for downloading large DVD quality movies in a matter of minutes or seconds depending on the file's size". But that is to no use now, since all the file-sharing websites has been blocked. Again, haha!

And the comment about BN, is just plain hilarious!

Anyway, like i said in one of my fb comments, this blocking thing is man-made. So, there must be a way to get round this. 

Any of you now a way to bypass this? Pls help :)

Btw, I also found this page in fb which is against this blocking majiggy. It's called 1Malaysia Don't Want SKMM Blocking Files Sharing Websites.
