Back in the years, when i was.... little, in the neighbourhood i used to live, they celebrated christmas. Not just my neighbourhood. Everybody. The town, the city, the whole country. Although it didn't snow on the day of Christmas, the celebration still was.. was.. amazing. If i remember correctly, we never had a white christmas. Always, it snowed before or after.
During that festive month, surely, the songs played on the radio and tv were about the celebration. I still remember, back at my house, the channel that always got tune the most were MTV and .... ugh, what was it? The Box or something. Both are music channels. Why? Coz me and my sister always hog the remote control. heh. These two channels just play music 24/7. I know, it's lame and so uncool. But hey, that's me and my sister :).
And so, during that month, christmas songs were played continuously or alternately. or, whatever u call it. But i really didnt like them that much. Until there was this one song. In 2001 if i am not mistaken. I think it was a soundtrack for movie. animated movie. A Christmas Carol it was called. If im not mistaken, again. I never watched the movie. But i really like the song. It was not about Christmas. But I think it got to do something with the movie. Whatever, i don't really care. The song is called What If, by Kate Winslet.
Why am i bringing it up, NOW? Simply because, i suddenly remembered about it. It was and still is a beautiful song. I still enjoy listening to it now like 10 years before. It has a very deep and meaningful lyrics. Plus, Kate's voice is so peaceful to listen to in the song. So beautiful.
