GEMILANG : sure to leave massive impact after NUR KASIH

The title says it all actually.


Personally i think Kabir Bhatia has brilliantly and creatively direct this 13 episodes drama. So far only 2 eps have been aired, it they never failed to move me. The first ep was very sad and tragic indeed. I cant help myself but cry watching it. 2nd ep, i managed to control myself (hehe), and only let tears to form and dry as quickly. Fortunately, it seems like all the sad scenes of flashbacks dah xde, and the next ep will reveal how the main cast Saifullah will build the INSTITUT GEMILANG. 

Honestly, this drama is very unique indeed. I'm bored of malay dramas that always revolve around the same issue : company issues, rich and greedy people trying to steal each others wealth, cinta antara 2 darjat etc:. We hardly find drama like Gemilang, about a fresh graduate who has high ambition and great vision for the future. He chose to be an educator because he hope he can change the world to the better through his students.

According to the Director, Kabir Bhatia, the story is based on a true story about his deceased father in law ( Mira Mustaffa dad,who is also the writer). Shah Jazle is playing the role but with a different name, Cikgu Saifullah. Saifullah is a very intelligent boy and comes from a family of poverty.At the start of the story,  his mother died when giving birth to their fourth child. His father then decided to give away the children to foster families and later he died from an accident. Saifullah was taken into a rich family but he never forget his roots.

After he finishes his study at University Malaya, he works in a bank but his heart is not at peace. That is when he decided to go back to his village an open an institute called Institut Gemilang. the school is aimed to give students who failed their exams a second chance. However, the future of Institut Gemilang is yet pitch black. Everything is still uncertain and full of conflicts between friends and lovers. Syazwan and Fazlina Wedding Video

Congratulations to Yeop n Fazz for their wedding. All went well, total GRANDE! The shade of grey/silver suited you guys pretty well. Here's a video of the wedding, that i captured and edited myself. The video is taken using my lovely Sanyo HD2000.





Seriously, i had a terrible and hard time editing this video. First, i usually convert the videos i captured to .avi coz the original format is .mp4 which is very large. However, this time, when i converted the videos, all tend to b very jaggy and rough around the edges. I didn't know what causes this. After several trials and errors, i gave up on the video. Then last night, when i had nothing else to do and was pretty bored, i started editing the video again. This time, i didnt convert the videos, hence let it remain .mp4 in format. After i align all the clips that i want in my editing software, i did got a bit heavy for my laptop to hold. Playing the clips to see the outcome was almost impossible coz it keep jumping and not playing smoothly. It really tested my patience. In the end, i pasrah n redha of the "outcome-to-be" and just click 'render' so finish up the video. Thus, the video!

p.s: i really need to work on  my camera stabilizing technique. especially when i zoom in. or, get a steady-cam!

not bad. not bad at all. i remembered, when the video was 3 days old in utube, the video da cecah like thousands of view. heehee..

Kalau tau la sebegini banyak attention the video was gonna get, aku buat berkualiti sket. haha.. ini just kitorg 4 org terkinja-kinja (ayat arwah uwan aku would use if she sees the video) je depan camera. haha.

Banyak gak yg like the video. And ade jugak a few yang mcm xberapa nak suke kan. But, what the heyyyy~~ saya xmampu nak puaskan hati semua org. Besides, i did this video for fun dan tidak mengganggu hidup orang laen.

Out of 3267 people yang share the vid, only one is my mutual friend, Hazwani Harun. And this girl pon, we just knew each other recently and it was because of the video. And she even wrote about me in her blog. Thank you pumpkin. I appreciate ur effort figuring out who me n my frens were.

Rumour is going round that Maths will be taught in MALAY starting this semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i was like... WHAT THE FAFISH FROGGISH FOSTRICH is all this man????? we have been taught in English, and English shall we remain! Hell with they threw away the PPSMI majiggi, that has nothing to do with tertiary level. I repeat, tertiary level education!

Kenapa nak susahkan orang? It's not that i'm choosing English over our national language,i love malay, i really do, but just think about it man. All this while, kami belajar in English. Memang culture shock gile la klu tetibe tuka. 2nd, most references, and by most i mean over 70% of references are in ENGLISH! mana ko nak carik reference in Malay wehh? PIKIR LA WEHH! 3rd, by this, it would be even harder for us to do the assignments! DAMN!!! 4th, Exam pon in Malay? Damn u! Dah la mathematical terms when translate to Malay, jadi macam TAIKKKK!! Lagi saket otak cube nak faham what the term means taw in Malay. It is better in English. seriously. Example, what is "JANJANG aritmetik'?? but, if u say "arithmetic PROGESSION", then "ooooooooo, progression rupenyeeeeeeeee..cakapla awal2." See??seee?seeeeeeeeeeeeee?????

Hampeh la kalu rumour ni true!!!!! Mati la weh.. it would be the end of everything!!!!!!

What I Want For Christmas....

Ahaahahahahaha..... I don't celebrate xmas peeps.. chill~ don't get your heads hot for it.

But really, for next year or the year after that, or soon, or whenever, I really really want a few gadgets for myself. Gadgets for my sanyo that is. Gosh, I'm so freaking addicted to my Sanyo aren't I?? I will bury myself alive if i ever break or lost the damn thing! Neways, here are a few things that I want for my Sanyo HD2000:

1. Epoque Underwater Housing

Uses: To film or take photos underwater. Can be used for other sports including skiing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing, as well as shooting in bad    weather conditions

2. LED Video Light

Uses: Provide light when shooting or photographing dark areas

Price: RM120 - RM200 

3. Camera Stabilizer/ Steadicam 

Uses: Reduce shakiness when filming. No shakes even when you are running while shooting! Ain't that cool???

Price: RM400++

4. Polarizer Filter

Uses: Enhance the color of the video or photo.

Price: RM45++

5. Wide Angle Lens

Uses: Widen the view when recording or taking photos. Suitable for outdoor scenery and small rooms

Price: RM150

What have I got myself so far???? 
well, I have bought myself a 40.5-58 step up ring and 58-58 reversing ring.

 WHAT NEXT???
 Next, I'm getting myself the wide angle lens that i wanted. When combining the rings and the wide-angle, i will get the extreme wide angle + fisheye effect. uuhhh~ can't wait! 

Then, i will get myself the polarizer, so that next time i take photos, i don't have to spend extra time editing the contrast and saturation.  

THEN WHAT???? 
That is a tough ques actually. 1,2, and 3 are all equally important to me. Gosh, which one should I buy first? Do I really have the money to buy them???
